William “Bill” Scott Lindsay Sr., of Hilo, HI, died March 28, 2013 at Hilo Medical Center. He was 83.

He was the beloved wife of Dr. Alberta Lindsay of Hilo, HI for 60 years.

Born in Newark, N.J., he was a retired salesman for Moffett Bearing Co., Temple University alumnus, U.S. Army Korean War veteran and Kiwanis International member. Prior to moving to Hawaii, he was a longtime resident of Wrightstown, PA.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his daughter, Andrea Lindsay of Volcano, HI; son, William S. Lindsay Jr. of Doylestown, PA.; and sister, Isbel McDonald of West Palm Beach, Fl.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Dr., Newtown PA 18940, where military honors will be presented.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to the Society of the 3rd Infantry Division, U.S. Army, 10 Paddington Ct., Hockessin, DE 19707.
