Virginia “Jean” M. O’Connor of Lafayette Redeemer Health Care in Philadelphia died Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was 92.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late George J. O’Connor, Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna McGrath Buck.

Jean was a former resident of Holland for over 35 years before moving to Lafayette Redeemer Health Care in Philadelphia in 2010. She had worked for many years in the Human Resources Department for Whitman Chocolates in Philadelphia and eventually worked for Estee Lauder in Feasterville. While residing in Holland, Jean was the former President of the Village Shires Condo Association. Jean enjoyed the company of her pets especially her dogs and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Jean is survived by her children and their spouses, Marilyn and Robert Gugger of Washington Crossing, George J., Jr. and Barbara O’Connor of Ellicott City, MD and James D. and JoAnne O’Connor of Southampton. She is also survived by her cherished 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday, April 5th from 10:00am until her Words of Remembrance at 11:30am from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro followed by her Graveside Service at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Yardley.
