Charlotte Cecelia Lear of Yardley died peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at her daughter’s residence in West Chester, PA. She was 89.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Lear.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Cecelia Wilson Young.

Mrs. Lear was a resident of Yardley since 1978. She was family oriented and devoted to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and games with her family and an occasional trip to the casino.

She is survived by her five children, JoAnne M. Wisniewski and her husband, John, of West Chester, PA, Marguerite T. Costello and her husband, Joseph, of The Villages, FL, Charlene M. Argyris and her husband, John, of Yardley, PA, Eric R. Lear and his wife, Joanna, of Titusville, NJ, and Craig W. Lear and his wife, Dorothy, of Bensalem, PA. She is also survived by her sister, Evelyn Kovacs of Quakertown, PA, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday evening, April 7, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954 and Monday, April 8, 2013, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA 19067.

Interment will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
