Mary L. Conway, of Perkasie, PA, at the age of 76, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at her home.

Born in LaSalle, IL, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Mary Louise Reinhard Dettelbach.

Mary was a resident of Bucks County for more than 40 years. She grew up in Glen Rock, NJ and graduated from Ridgewood High School, Class of 1954. In 1958 Mary received her bachelor degree in English from Ursuline College in Cleveland, OH. Mary’s professional career as an administrative assistant included employment at: Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Doylestown, Doylestown Hospital, and Holicong Middle School. She spent the last 11 years of her career with Bucks County Intermediate Unit before retiring in 2001.

She loved watching the Phillies, the Eagles, and PGA golf tournaments. Her interests varied from reading fiction, decorating, gardening, and enjoying musicals and plays. She had a strong focus on her Catholic faith and her church.
Family played an important part of her life and she always enjoyed the special times spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her six children, Kelley Conway, Peter and Tiffany Conway, Mary Pat and Lindsay Beswick, Dave and Carol Conway, Carol and Tom Schwind, Kate and Matt Pecic and the father of her children, Terry Conway. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Ed Pirnat, her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Gerri Dettelbach, her 13 grandchildren; Colin Conway, Kendall Conway, Jessica Beswick, Quinn Beswick, Jake Conway, Max Conway, Patrick Schwind, Maura Schwind, Katherine Schwind, Delaney Schwind, Ryan Schwind, Molly Pecic and Aubrey Pecic, and her dog, Dixie.

Mary’s family will receive friends to celebrate her life on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 9:30 AM until her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927, followed by interment at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, P.O. Box 31, Hilltown, PA 18927.
