Eleanor Maychak DiGiuseppe of Souderton died peacefully on Thursday April 18, 2013. She was 85.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved wife of the late Frank DiGiuseppe and daughter of the late Theodore and Rose Dubis Maychak.

Eleanor was a resident of Souderton for the past 4 years, having lived in Huntingdon Valley from 1968 to 2009. Eleanor worked as a clerk for the Pennsylvania Unemployment Department in Philadelphia, the Milton Ross Company in Southampton and Gilbreth Company in Bensalem, during her working career. She was a devoted wife and mother who knew the family came first. Her grandchildren, where the light of her life and she looked forward to being with them often.

Eleanor was outgoing and made lots of friends and enjoyed their company, especially playing cards and bingo. She will be sadly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her.

Eleanor is survived by her devoted children and their spouses; Ellen F. Eversole and her husband Kim, Diane R. Doyle and her husband Robert, Robert E. DiGiuseppe and his wife Karen and Debra A. Laule and her husband Kirk. She is also survived by her 7 dear grandchildren; Daniel, Kyle, Ryan, Michael, Timothy, Allie and Nicholas.

Eleanor’s family will receive condolences on Friday April 26, from 9:30 am until her Prayer Service 11:00 am from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.

Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Caring Hospice Services, 400 Commerce Dr. Suite C, Fort Washington, PA. 19034 or Rockhill Mennonite Community 3250 State Rd. Sellersville, PA. 18960
