Stanley E. Fluck of Furlong, PA died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown after an arduous struggle with cancer. He was 55.
Stanley was the beloved husband of 29 years to Marie A. Wojtkielewicz Fluck.
Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley A. and Theresa Grasso Fluck.
Stanley was a long time resident of Philadelphia before moving to Willow Grove in 1989. He and his family eventually moved to Warminster in 1998 and recently moved to Furlong in 2011. Stan worked at UPS from August 1977 until his retirement in January 2013. He began his career as a part-time employee while attending school, and was promoted into supervision. Stan was promoted several times during his career, and rose to the position of Division Manager. During his career, Stan worked in many areas in Metro Philadelphia, including Industrial Engineering, Hub and Feeders, Labor and many special assignments. He was a Communicant of St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church in Jamison. Stanley loved spending time with his family and living a leisurely lifestyle at his house in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
In addition to his beloved wife Marie, Stanley is survived by his two daughters, Angela Racioppi and her husband, Rick, of Phoenixville and Stephanie Fluck of Furlong. He is also survived by his two brothers, Dennis Fluck and his wife Candi and Brian Fluck, all of Aldan, PA and was the special “Pe Pop” to his three grandchildren, Nicholas, Vivian and Vincent. Also loving uncle, brother-in-law and loyal friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 29, 2013, from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA 18929.
Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
