Virginia T. Sigrist of Holland died peacefully on Friday April 26, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 91.

Born in Abington, MA, she was the devoted daughter of the late Arthur G. and Jennie Donovan Gervais. She was the beloved wife of the late Allan W. Sigrist, and dearest mother of the late Patricia A. Dalrymple. She was also pre deceased by one brother and five sisters.

Virginia was a graduate of Abington High School in Abington, MA, class of 1939 and the Kathleen Dell School in Brookline, MA, class of 1941. She proudly served our country as a Naval WAVE during World War II.

Virginia and her late husband loved to travel and did so throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America. Some of their happiest years were when they lived in Louisville, KY from 1955 to 1968. She was an avid reader, an excellent Bridge player and enjoyed the theater. Virginia was a resident of Holland for the past 8 years, having been a resident of Buckingham Springs for over 13 years.

Virginia is survived by her devoted daughters; Rosemary L. Wonder and her husband Thomas, Jane S. Celentano and her husband John. She is also survived by her sisters; Genevieve Sabin and Evelyn Gambaro. Virginia was a doting Grandmother who especially loved to be with her grandchildren and her family. She is survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Virginia’s family will receive condolences on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown.

Interment will follow at Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown.
