Ronald C. Sullivan, of Feasterville, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 69.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Clare E. “Sol” and Elizabeth Kitchen Sullivan, and was the beloved husband of Donna Kingsmill Sullivan for 43 years.

Ron was a 1962 graduate from the Jules Maustbaum High School. After joining the work force for a short time, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War.

After returning from overseas, Ron obtained his real estate license, working for Edward W. Langel Real Estate in Southampton for 10 years. He then secured a position at the U.S. Post Office, serving as a postal carrier before retiring after 30 years of service.

He loved coaching for his children’s sports, which included soccer, softball, and basketball, and was known affectionately as “Coach Ron”. Ron was an avid sports fan; he loved the Phillies and the Eagles, and took great joy in watching professional athletes perform.

If asked to describe Ron, everyone would say the same thing: He was a good man. Ron was a simple man of few words, a loving husband, and an outstanding father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his son: Ronald P. Sullivan, husband of Christina of Feasterville; his daughter: Maura K. Gallagher, wife of Shaun of Doylestown; sister: Ada Ash, wife of Bob of Winter Haven, FL; brother: Robert Sullivan of Thailand; his grandchildren: Kylie, Timothy, Ryan, Molly, Christopher and Emily; and his loving and supportive extended family of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and from 10:00 a.m. to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053 on Monday, May 6, 2013. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Healing Ministries Program, 1 Summit Square, Suite 300, 1717 Langhorne-Newtown Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047 or the Healing Consciousness Foundation, 45 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.
