William J. McGinley, of Warwick, PA died on Friday, May 3, 2013, at Abington Hospice at Warminster, with his family by his side. He was 85.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved husband of Ruth Rempp McGinley for the past 64 years, and son of the late Daniel J. and Florence Morlock McGinley. He was predeceased by his 8 brothers and sisters.

Bill was a graduate of North Catholic High School, class of 1945. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II. Bill was a resident of Warwick for the past 11 years, and a communicant of St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church. He was a former resident of Levittown, PA.

He was employed by Marshall Maintenance, Trenton, NJ for 29 years and served as the President of the Company for 7 years prior to his retirement in 1991.

Bill and his wife Ruth had an active social life, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and their many friends. Bill was an avid gardener and always enjoyed helping his neighbors.

In addition to his beloved wife Ruth, he is survived by his sons, Rick McGinley and his wife Kathy, Terry McGinley and his wife Margie, and his sister Marie Cotter, and her husband Tom. He is also survived by 5 dear grandchildren; Meghan, Ryan, Dan, Kelly and Kaitlin, and 1 great granddaughter Maeve.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings Tuesday evening May 7, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and on Wednesday at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church 1410 Almshouse Rd. Jamison, PA from 11:00 am until his Funeral Mass 12:00 Noon.

Interment will follow at 2:00pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St. Philadelphia, PA 19103.
