Richard E. Moore, Jr. of Holland died Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 63.
Richard was the beloved husband of 24 years to Loraine M. Fischer Moore.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Richard, Sr. and Elizabeth Herring Moore.
Richard was a resident of Holland since 1994. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1967 and Mansfield University Class of 1971. Richard was a teacher in the Council Rock School District for 24 years. He was a faithful communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church since 1994 and will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
In addition to his beloved wife Loraine, Richard is survived by his sons, Richard E. Moore, III and Ian Moore, his brother Thomas Moore and his two sisters, Elizabeth Williams and Ellen Chapman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday, May 6, 2013 from 7:00-9:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and to his Funeral Mass 10:00am Tuesday May 7th at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, PA 18966. Future interment will be held in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy, 10700 Knights Road, Phila., PA 19114.
