Annie Scheiter, of Sellersville, PA died peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge. She was 100.

She was the wife of the late William Scheiter.

Born in Salford, England, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Short Oldham, sister of the late Charles and William Oldham and she was the great-grandmother of the late Andrew John Hengy.

Annie was blessed to live a long and rewarding life. She had the love and kindness of family and friends who supported her when she left England in 1957 and moved to America. She settled in Philadelphia and soon found a job and career with Central Penn Bank, whom she worked with for over 20 years in their data processing department.

She traveled extensively and and was fortunate to visit many beautiful places and gardens throughout the world, always bringing a little something back to incorporated into her garden at home. When she was not traveling, Annie filled her days with many other activities from knitting, working with crafts and an occasional trip to the casino. She loved spending time with her family and never missed the opportunity to sing and dance with them at family events.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Hengy of Warwick, and Ann Primwhere and her husband, Joseph, of Perkasie. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Service 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. Her interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
