Dorothy J. Donovan of Morrisville, PA died suddenly on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 73.

She was the beloved wife of Richard C. Donovan for 48 years.

Born in Terre Haute, IN, she was the daughter of the late Hal M. and Dessia Jeffers Dunlap and sister of the late James L. Dunlap and Doris J. Fite.

Mrs. Donovan was a resident of Morrisville since 1968. She graduated from McKees Rocks High School located near Pittsburgh, Class of 1957. Being family oriented, she enjoyed the special times spent with her immediate family and her large extended family, plus she was very active with a close-knit circle of friends. She was loving and devoted to her grandchildren. Because she cared about them deeply, she had a special knack of making her family and friends feel at ease, and feel important to her. She enriched the lives of all of those close to her. She also had a natural talent for arts and crafts, particularly painting and sewing. For many years she had been active in genealogy of her extended family, and in assisting others to find information on their ancestors. In recent years, she got special enjoyment in time spent at the beach in and around Cape May, NJ. She was known as Dot to family and friends, and known as Mom-Mom to her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, neighbor, and friend.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen L. Richter of Sellersville, PA and Kelly L. Cantwell and her husband, Bryan, of Churchville, PA. She is also survived by her five loving grandchildren, Allison and Adam Richter, Sam, Emily and Sarah Cantwell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday evening, May 13, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954 and Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.

Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Richboro, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
