Constance A. “Connie” Blair, of Penndel, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 65.

Born in Philadelphia, Connie was the beloved wife of Richard N. Blair and daughter of the late Herman and Antonia Gulesich Amenhauser.

Connie was a resident of Penndel for the past 23 years and a faithful communicant of Queen of the Universe Church. She was a graduate of St. Hubert’s High School for Girls and Holy Family University with her Bachelor of Science degree. She worked for over 30 years in the banking field, starting out with Neshaminy Valley Bank as a teller and retiring from Wachovia Bank as a relationship manager.

Connie was a very talented crafter, whose hands turned quilts in works of art and ceramic designs that were out of this world. She and her husband looked forward to their trips to Rehoboth Beach Delaware, where they spent many happy times.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her daughters; Sheila Phillips, and Christine Blair, one brother Joseph Amenhauser, her 3 sisters and their husbands, Mary Ann McBride and Thomas, Kathy Fagan and Michael, and Deborah Barr and Brian. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren Leah and Donovon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday May 13, 2013 from 9:00 am until her Funeral Mass 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd,. Levittown, PA.

Interment St. Andrew Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Eastern PA. Down Syndrome Center, P.O. Box 60, Trexlertown, PA 18087 or Osteogenesis Imperfecta Fund, c/o Shriners Hospital, 3551 N. Broad St., Phila., PA 19140.
