Antonio Scappaticci of Langhorne, PA died peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 91.

He was the beloved husband of the late Maria Ricci Scappaticci.

Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Tommaso and Giovanna Di Sotto Scappaticci and father of the late Antonietta Scappaticci.

Mr. Scappaticci was a resident of Langhorne since 1988. He formerly lived in Yonkers, NY for many years. Before retiring in 1976, he was a cement mason for over 35 years and a member of Local #780 in New York. For 30 years, Mr. Scappaticci spent the winter months in Florida to be near his daughter and her children. In his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening and making his own wine. He was a faith filled man who attended Mass every Sunday. Being family oriented he always enjoyed the special times spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed as a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his two children, Flora D’Aiuto and her husband, Frank, of Boco West, FL, Thomas Scappaticci and his wife, Gail, of Langhorne, PA, and his two brothers, Loreto Scappaticci of Italy and Onorio Scappaticci of Canada. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A.
