Glenn J. Shaw of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully on June 7, 2013, at Abington Hospice of Warminster surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was 51.

He was the beloved husband of Eileen Shaw for 28 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Barbara (Ma Ma’) A. McNeill Shaw of Langhorne, PA and the late Alexander Shaw.

Glenn exemplified the American dream; through hard work and ingenuity, he succeeded at everything he did. Not only that, but through an audacious belief in those he loved he propelled others to grow beyond their own limitations as well. Like all the brightest stars in the sky, his life was short but burned brightly. This brightness and warmth pushed through the dark cracks of people’s daily interactions; it was almost impossible not to smile while talking to Glenn. Like the word “cool”, Glenn never went out of style and the world is a noticeably lamer place without him in it.

He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father, son and brother.

In addition to his beloved wife and mother, he is survived by his two sons, Alexander Shaw and Ian Shaw his two brothers, Scott W. (Lynn) and Douglas A., and his two sisters, Heather J. Tomlinson (Richard) and Bonnie S. Haeberle. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Ben and Marion Dylinski, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, all his wonderful friends, and his latest joy in life, Scrappy.

Glenn’s family will receive friends Sunday, June 9, from 3:00PM until Words of Remembrance are shared 4:30 PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment will be private.

Glenn’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Abington Hospice at Warminster for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Stroke Association, 5455 North High St. Columbus, OH 43216.
