Lawrence Laccabue, a resident of Chalfont, formerly of Holland, died suddenly on October 8, 2014 at the age of 73.
Larry was born in Chicago, IL to Elizabeth (Rapinac) and Fred Laccabue. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Larry loved to travel with his buddies, listen to jazz and was an avid sports fan, especially of his hometown Chicago teams. His amazing sense of humor and kind heart will sadly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Larry was a devoted Father to his children, Debbie, and her husband, Keith Dyer, of New Hope, PA, Laura Laccabue and Chris Broda, of Souderton, PA, and Bradley Laccabue, of Clearwater, FL. He adored his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Matthew and Stephen, who lovingly called him “Nonno”. Larry had a special, close relationship with his sister, Victoria Ryan, and his brother, Richard Laccabue, and valued his closeness to his nephews, nieces, cousins and many lifelong friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, October 13, 2014, from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954 and to his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 12:15 PM at the Church of Saint Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
