Mary T. Timmerman of Newtown, PA died peacefully on June 17, 2013 at Fox Chase Cancer Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 48.
Born in Dubuque, Iowa, Mary was the beloved wife of 25 years to Timothy N. Timmerman and the devoted daughter and daughter-in-law of Gerald J. and Carol F. Noel Potts and Robert and Mary Timmerman of Dubuque, Iowa.
Mary was not only a wonderful wife and mother to her five beautiful children but an extraordinary friend to many who she inspired through her deep spirituality and incredible grace and humor. She truly made the world a better place and was an amazing example to all. She will be missed deeply and will always carry our prayers.
In addition to her beloved husband, Mary is survived by her loving children; Tyler, Thomas, Trace, Theresa and Mary Grace Timmerman; she was the dear sister (sister-in-law) of Michael Potts, Gary Potts (Christina), Robert Potts (Bridget), Tony Potts (Tracey), Timothy Potts (Jenni), Kimberly MacLeod (Keith), Kathleen Herrig (Thomas), and her husband’s sisters (spouses): Sheree (Dwayne) Spragling , Michelle (William) Falcon, Beth (Joe) Peters, and Pam (Glenn) Rogers. She is also survived by many supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and to her Funeral Mass on Friday 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown, PA 18940.
Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made payable to “Tessa Timmerman c/o Kids Curing Cancer.” All donations will be deposited in Timmerman “Kids Curing Cancer” account at Citizens Bank, 48 West Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
