Eugene Kurman of Warminster passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. He was 77.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved husband of 56 years to Marcella (nee Brodycz) Kurman and son of the late Michael Sr. and Stella (nee Kaczmarczyk) Kurman, and brother of the late Michael Kurman Jr. and Katherine Kurman.
In addition to his beloved wife, left behind to cherish his memory are his devoted children Christine Katherine, Marcella Ann Mezzanotte (Henry), Eugene Peter (Diane); his grandchildren Peter Edwin Fair (fiancée Jeannette Parton), Elizabeth Ann Fair Meeker (Daniel), Larissa, Nicholas and Alexander.
He is also survived by his Uncle, Walter T. Kurman of East Longmeadow, MA, and siblings Yaroslav, Theodore (Lucy), Stefania A. Bryant (Alan), his sister-in-law Barbara Kurman, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Eugene was the founder of Gene’s Auto Body Collision Specialists of Feasterville that was Established in 1969. He was a faithful parishioner and member of the Parish Board of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Philadelphia, member of the Ukrainian-American Veterans Post No. 4, and a past member of the Feasterville Fire Company.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings; Wednesday evening, June 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Parastas services at 7:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and on Thursday, June 27 at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral 6740 N. 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19126 from 8:30 AM until his Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM.
Internment at Lawn Croft Cemetery, 1000 West Ridge Road, (Delaware County) Linwood, PA.
