Peter J. Devine, Jr., M.D. of Holland, PA, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years old.

He was the beloved husband of the late Donna Weeks Devine.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Peter was the son of the late Peter J. Devine, Sr. and Kathryn Mary Devine. He attended Neshaminy High School. He was a 1957 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and served for 2 years in the United States Navy on the USS Sierra. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1963, then interned at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. After 2 years in family practice in northeast Philadelphia, he joined the medical staff of Bell of Pennsylvania in 1966, rising to corporate medical director and retiring in 1991.

Peter is survived by his loving children and their spouses: Michael J. and Christine S. Devine of Charlottesville, VA, Donald J. and Lisa P. Devine of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Kristin D. and Michael C. Kruszczynski of Newtown, PA. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Colin, Charlotte, Shelby, Kathryn, Caroline, Caden and Ryan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday, July 2, 2013, from 7:00 to 9:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954 and to his Funeral Mass Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:00AM in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966.

Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne.
