Frank J. Rizzo, Jr. of Sellersville died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown. He was 72.

Frank was the beloved husband of 51 years to Carmella J. Pettinato Rizzo.

Born in Germantown Hospital in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank and Pearl Richart Rizzo and the grandfather of the late Donald J. Dolan, Jr.

Frank was a former resident of Chalfont before moving to Sellersville in 2000. He had worked at Philco Ford as a tool and die maker for 35 years until his retirement in 2002. Frank was a Communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Hilltown. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was always ready to travel. His best friend was his dog Cujo. Cujo and Frank went for many walks at the park and around the neighborhood. He enjoyed working in his garden and sitting on the deck in the back yard watching the deer, rabbits and turkeys. Frank in his younger years enjoyed riding his motorcycle on long trips to Cape Cod and Canada with his wife Carmella. Frank will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his beloved wife Carmella, Frank is survived by his dearest children and their spouses, Frank J., III and Sherry Rizzo of Colmar and Tina M. and Don J. Dolan of Sellersville. He is also survived by his sister, Linda M. Jerome of Sellersville and his brother, John C. Rizzo of Marshall, MO, and his four cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Stephen Dolan and Frank and Megan Rizzo and his niece, Jennifer M. Tuozzo and her husband, Michael, of Hatfield and their children, Maria and Tony Tuozzo.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Route 152 and Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927.

Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church at the above address.
