Virginia R. Nober, of Holland, passed away on July 3, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 62.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved wife of the late Sgt. Robert A. Nober and the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Spitz Tucker.

Ginny was a graduate of the George Washington High School, class of 1968. She had been a resident of Holland for the past 41 years, and was a secretary for Misty Meadow Gardens Landscape Design Business that was started by her late husband Robert A. Nober in 1971, until his passing in 1997. She was also the owner of Country Kitchen Catering for many years out of her home. Ginny was a dedicated homemaker; she loved cooking homemade meals for her family and friends, and also enjoyed working in her yard/garden and taking pride in her home. Her family came first and foremost, especially her 2 grandsons who called her Mom-Mom. She was also known as ‘Mom-Mom Ginny’ in the neighborhood. Ginny’s hobbies were finding treasurers by going to yard sales, thrift stores, going on day trips to Lancaster and reading a good story in her back yard paradise that she took pride in and listening to her Irish music with her dogs by her side. Ginny was well known and will be missed by family and friends with her huge heart that touched many live with her caring and giving ways.

Ginny is survived by her devoted daughters: Virginia Lynn Strehle, (Kenneth Strehle) of Holland, and Amy Nicole Nober, (Mike Maillie) of Holland; and her 2 dearest grandsons: Steven and Andrew Hannigan (Matthew Hannigan).

Ginny’s family will receive condolences on Wednesday evening July 10, 2013 from 6:00pm until her Words of Remembrances at 7:30pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., Richboro.

Interment will be held in Union Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 523 Plymouth Rd. Suite 223, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
