Charles E. Smith of Kintnersville died surrounded by family and friends on Thursday October 9, 2014 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 70.
Born in Prospectville, he was a resident of Kintnersville for many years. Charles was a master mechanic, he knew more about trucks, cars and heavy equipment than anyone could imagine.
He was the devoted father of Nicole, Greg, Stacey, the late Michelle, and Heather, the proud grandfather of Daniel, Maverick and Meadow. He is also survived by his 5 sisters; Betty, Ethel, Helen, Ann and Patricia, his 4 brothers; Norman, Frank, Edward and Bruce. He was predeceased by his sister Doris and brother Jimmy.
Relatives and friends are invited to his life celebration on Thursday October 16, from 9:00am until his Prayer Service 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
