Dennis J. “Maynard” Smith, of Sellersville, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was 58.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Bernice Carrawon Smith and the late William J. Smith, and was preceded in death by his sons: Brett W. Smith and SPC Shane Patrick Smith, U.S. Army, and his father-in-law: Albert Godio.

He was the beloved husband of Kelly A. (nee Godio) Smith.

Dennis is also survived by his son: Mackenzie R. Smith; his sisters: Evelyn Dettmar and Beverly Kelly; and his mother-in-law: Anna Marie Hennessy.

Dennis’s family will receive condolences on Thursday, from 9:30 am until his Funeral Mass 11:00 am in Christ the King Church, Morrell Ave. and Chesterfield Rd. Phila., PA 19114.

Interment will be private.
