Brett J. Sexton of Doylestown died suddenly Monday July 15, 2013 at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ. He was 43.

Brett was the beloved husband of Allyson Davies Sexton for 13 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the cherished son of Frank J. and Dottie Anne Dunphy Sexton of New Hope.

Brett was raised in Holland and was a former communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church, where he played on the CYO soccer, basketball and baseball teams. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1988. Brett received his undergraduate degree from The College of New Jersey (Trenton State University) and his Master’s in Business Administration from LaSalle University.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Brett was an Executive officer for Sommer Maid Creamery of Doylestown for the past 20 years. He was active in the community, especially supporting his children in their activities.

He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Doylestown Country Club and presently a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Doylestown.

He will be sadly missed by his loving and caring family and many friends, being remembered for his quick wit and his exceptional business skills.

In addition to his wife and parents, Brett is survived by his devoted children, Andrew, James, Rebecca and Mallory, his sisters: Renee Sexton, Nicole Curran, Colette Craven and her husband Kevin, his brother Grant Sexton and his wife Marissa, his father-in-law Alexander Davies, Allyson’s grandparents, Leslie and Anne Hardie Davies, and Allyson’s sister Kimberley Leahy and her husband William.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings Friday evening, July 19th from 6:00- 9:00 pm and Saturday, July 20th from 8:45 am to 9:45 am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Road), Richboro and to his Funeral Mass Saturday, July 20th at 10:30am in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966.

Interment will follow at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery in New Hope.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
