Ruby Clee Baughman Bower of Willow Grove, PA died peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, at her residence. She was 79.

Born on the Diemler Farm in Landisburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Brady T. and Mary A. Smith Baughman, and loving mother of the late Edward Bower.

Ruby attended Philadelphia University and focused her education on Nursing and eventually she was accepted into the Nursing Program at Germantown Hospital where she completed her studies and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1954. After her retirement in 1996 from Germantown Hospital, Ruby enjoyed devoting time and volunteering to the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust.

Ruby is survived by her 5 siblings; George Baughman of Landisburg, PA, Anna Bird, Wayne Baughman, Mary Jane Kitner, and Jake Baughman all of New Bloomfield, PA, several nieces and nephews and their extended families.

Ruby’s family will receive friends on Wednesday 1:00PM until her Memorial Service 2:00PM at St. John United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Rd. Ivyland, PA 18974.

Interment will be private.
