Clara C. Davis of Ivyland, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Wynwood Northampton in Richboro. She was 97.

Clara was the beloved wife of the late Harry L. Davis.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Otto T. and Clara Osswald Haas.

Clara was a resident of Northampton Township for the past 75 years, she and her late husband Harry were the co- founders of Davis Feed Mill, having their first location on their farm on Spencer Rd in Ivyland from 1939 till 1943. They then moved to their present location in Rushland. Clara retired in 2004 and her son Allan has continued to operate the mill. Clara loved the Feed Business and brought animal nutrition to new levels, bringing premium grains and new feeding ideas to the tri state area.

Clara believed in family first, she was a woman who knew both being a wife, mother and grandmother as well as a business woman. She was a member of the Addisville Reformed Church for many years and a long time member of the Soroptimist of Indian Rock. She will be long remembered for her love of family and dedication to her faithful customers and the tradition will continue to live on.

Clara is survived by her 2 children, Clare M. Caldwell and her husband Stanley Blaine and H. Allan Davis and his wife Mary. She is also survived by her brother Theodore Haas and his wife Edwina and her sister Elfriede H. Doert Osmond. Also surviving are 7 dear grandchildren; Tom, Scott, Kevin, Deborah, Clayton, Chad and Rachael and her 14 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings, Sunday August 18th from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm and on Monday August 19th from 10:00am until her Funeral Service 11:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro.

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Richboro.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made the to the Memorial Fund of Addisville Reformed Church 945 Second Street Pike Richboro, PA 18954 or to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia 34th and Civic Center Blvd. Phila PA 19104.
