Virginia Fry of Newtown passed away peacefully on August 24, 2013, with her husband at her side. She was 76.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Cecelia Conway. Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia, and her brother, Philip.

Virginia was the beloved wife, for 56 years, of Joseph. L. Fry, and the devoted mother of Patricia Kent, Sharon Snyder and her husband Jeffrey, Joanne Peterson and her husband Daniel, and Joseph Fry, Jr. She was the loving grandmother of Andrew Kent, Olivia and Griffin Peterson, and Allison, Kelly, Daniel, and Sean Snyder. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws, and friends.

Ginny was a kind and thoughtful friend, and her gentle spirit will be remembered lovingly by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 7:00-9:00pm, Thursday, August 29th in the Joseph A. Fluehr Ill Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am Friday, August 30th in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd, Newtown, PA.

Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
