Martin Lee Willard of New Britain, PA died on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. He was 66.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Edwina M. Netherton Willard of Hatfield, PA and the late Martin H. Willard.

Mr. Willard was a resident of New Britain since 1977. He graduated from North Penn High School, Class of 1964 and went on to receive his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from St. Joseph University in Philadelphia, Class of 1970. For the past 25 years, he has been the proprietor of the Creek Side Inn in Chalfont. He had a charismatic personality with a keen sense of humor and was quick to make people laugh. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed boating and fishing in his leisure time. He will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother and grandfather.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Christopher D. Willard and his wife, Amanda Lynn, of Chalfont and his two daughters, Amy S. Tielemans and her husband, Albert, of Chalfont and Amanda Marie Willard and her fiancée’, John Solsky, of Athens, PA. He is also survived by his brother, David Willard and his wife, Susan, of Holland, MI and his two grandsons, Aaron C. and Xander N. Tielemans.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, from 4:00 PM until his Funeral Service 6:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901. Interment will be private.

We are glad that, though Lee was very ill, he was still able to be an organ donor.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Warriors for Tim, Inc, a foundation established to increase awareness for the need for organ and tissue donation at 901 Longwood Court, Chalfont, PA 18914 or warriorsfortim.org.
