Alfred Walter Gramp of Churchville died surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 31st at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington. He was 66.

Alfred was the beloved husband of 44 years to JoAnn Muntzer Gramp.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Alfred J. and Eleanor C. King Gramp.

Alfred was a former resident of North East Philadelphia and Huntingdon Valley before moving to Churchville in 1971. He had worked with the Johnsville Naval Air and Development Center as an Electrical Engineer until his retirement in 2004. Alfred was a faithful and active member as well as the Treasurer of Faith Presbyterian Church in Richboro. He was also the Treasurer of the Philadelphia Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of America. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing tennis and golf. Alfred will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his wife JoAnn, Alfred is survived by his two children, Michele J. Romer and her husband Benjamin of Downington and Jeffrey M. Gramp and his wife Dawn of Broomall. He is also survived by his two brothers, Robert A. Gramp of Bridgeton, NJ and Douglas P. Gramp of Hatboro, and his three grandchildren, Helena, Faith and Carly.

Alfred’s family will receive friends on Friday, September 6th from 11:00am until his Funeral Service 12:00 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Richboro.
