JoAnn M. Kalman of Newtown passed away on Saturday September 7, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 71.

JoAnn was the beloved wife of 52 years to Joseph M. Kalman.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Steven and Helen Wolf Lokus.

JoAnn was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Newtown. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be remembered for all the lasting memories that she provided to her family. JoAnn will be deeply missed by all who came to know her.

In addition to her beloved husband Joseph, JoAnn is survived by her children; Jackie M. Kalman of Levittown, Judie A. Tate and her husband Patrick of Southampton and Janine M. Parker and her husband Patrick of Langhorne. She is also survived by her sister Susan Luse and her husband Rick of Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren, Krista and her husband Mike, Jen, Laura, Amanda, Michael, Brandon, her great grandson Zachary and her niece Stephanie and her husband Chad.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, September 11th from 6:00pm until her Funeral Service 8:00pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of a donor’s choice.
