Elizabeth “Betty” H. Sladek of Newtown passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 86.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late Walter F. Sladek.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John and Amy Sutcliffe Transue.

Betty was a former resident of Old Bridge, New Jersey before moving to Newtown in 1988. She will be remembered for her devotion and dedication to her husband and family and will be deeply missed by everyone who came to know her.

Betty is survived by her children: Ronald W. Sladek and his wife Donna Maria of Newtown, Susan E. Sladek of Newtown, and Karen E. White and her husband Gregory of Hillsborough, NJ and her two cherished grandsons: Ryan T. and Christopher P. White, her brother Jack Transue of Newtown and her sister Barbara Vile of Langhorne.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing 9:30am until her Funeral Service 11:00am on Thursday, September 12th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
