Barbara A. McPeak, 77, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook after a courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was the beloved wife of Donald J. McPeak for 57 years.

She was born on September 30, 1935 in Philadelphia to the late Robert and Josephine (Nicoletti) Veneziano.

Barbara was a graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls, class of 1953 and former resident of Northeast Philadelphia before moving to Holland in 1974. Barbara was a consummate mother and homemaker along with working for Freedom Credit Union for over 30 years. She was a faithful communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church, Holland. Above all, Barbara was the best Mom Mom ever and extremely proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her devoted daughters, Dona Marie Bergner of Warrington and Kathleen Digney of Holland, survive her. Also her brother Robert Veneziano of Philadelphia and sister Nancy Bellezza and husband Frank of New Jersey. She will be dearly missed by her 9 grandchildren; Trish, Daniel, Megan, Kristin, DJ, Chase, Morgan, Cole and Shamus and 2 great grandchildren; Ethan and Logan.

Barbara’s family will receive condolences on Saturday September 28, 2013 from 10:45am until her Funeral Mass 12 Noon at St. Bede the Venerable Church 1071 Holland Rd. Holland. Interment will be Private.

In Lieu of Flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Little Flower High School for Girls 1000 W. Lycoming St. Phila PA 19140.
