Martin Michael O’Connor of Richboro died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 84.

Martin was the beloved husband of 63 years to Helen Louise Gallagher O’Connor.

Born in Collingdale, PA, he was the son of the late John Edward and Sarah Reynolds O’Connor.

Martin was a former resident of Northeast Philadelphia before moving to Richboro in 1968. He was a Construction Supervisor with PECO for over 45 years until his retirement in 1991. Martin was a communicant of St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland and in his leisure enjoyed all sports especially basketball, family vacations and travelling.

In addition to his beloved wife Helen, Martin is survived by his children; Maryann O’Connor of Buckingham, Kathleen Marie Burger and her husband Robert of Richboro, Martin Michael O’Connor Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Mechanicsburg, John Christopher O’Connor and his wife Euphemia of Warminster, Helen Louise O’Connor of Buckingham and Patricia Katherine O’Connor of Richboro. Also survived by his brother James O’Connor of Poughkeepsie, NY, his 2 grandchildren, Kristin Marie and Robert Louis and 2 great grandchildren Helaina and Chase.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 9:00am to 10:30am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) and to his Funeral Mass 11:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966 on Friday, October 4th.

Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Monastery of St. Clare, 1271 Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.
