Helen Ragan Paglia,83, formerly of Holland, PA, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Wayne County Nursing Home, Lyons, NY.

Born in Oneida, PA to Michael and Anna Dulina Ragan, Helen was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Paglia.

Prior to moving to Lyons, NY, Helen lived in Holland for 32 years and was a faithful parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable Church. She retired from Newtown Business Forms where she worked in accounting.

Helen enjoyed her family, her garden, shopping and watching Phillies baseball.
Helen is survived by her loving and devoted children and their spouses; Thomas J. Paglia and Regina of Cazenovia, NY; Lauren M. Maddock and Patrick of Lyons, NY; Dr. Janet E. Distler of Carlisle, PA and Joanne P. Seader and Robert of Mechanicsburg, PA. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren. Helen was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph in 2005, and son-in-law, John Distler in 2011.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, October 8th, beginning at 9:30AM, at St. Bede the Venerable, 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, PA 18966. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00AM and interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helen’s memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 225 City Ave., Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
