Diane H. Zucker, of Newtown, died peacefully in the arms of her loving husband Jerry and her younger son Craig on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Pennsylvania Hospital. She was 64.

Born in Newark, NJ in 1949, she was the daughter of the late Julio and Helen Sussko Lopes.

Diane was the beloved wife of 42 and one half years to Jerry W. Zucker. They met at a freshman mixer in 1967 and were together ever since.

Diane graduated from Montclair State College in 1971 with a degree in French. After spending a number of years raising her children, she taught in the Morrisville School District, then spent 25 years with Wells Fargo, mostly in Washington Crossing Pa. Diane, often with a degree of luck, enjoyed playing the lottery and spending time at the casinos, participating in and winning at various games of chance. In her leisure, Diane enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting and other various arts and crafts. Above all else, she loved to spend time creating cherished experiences and memories with her children and grandchildren. Diane will forever be remembered as a woman with a heart of gold who believed in personal sacrifice and unconditional love. She put her heart and soul into making sure her boys felt loved and supported in every way possible. Her spirit is carried on by her two children and three grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Jerry, Diane is survived by her two loving sons; Jerry M. Zucker and his wife Tina of Souderton, and Craig W. Zucker of Pipersville. She is also survived by her sister Joanne Bromirski, and her three grandchildren, Josephine, Gianna, and Mackenzie as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her absence will be felt by all whose lives she touched.

Diane’s family will receive friends on Friday evening, October 18 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954, and invites everyone to join them for her Funeral Mass 10:00AM Saturday, October 19 in St. Ann Church, 357 Dorance St. Bristol, PA 19007.

Interment will follow at Tullytown Cemetery

. While flowers are of course welcome, the family would equally welcome contributions in her memory made to any cancer charity of your choice.
