Joseph J. Duesbury of North Wales died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington. He was 81.
Joe was the beloved husband Caroline Weise Duesbury.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Jennie Drake Duesbury.
Joe was a former resident of the Kensington section of Philadelphia before moving to North Wales in 1994. He was a mail carrier with the US Postal Service for over 30 years. Joe was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. In his leisure, he enjoyed playing golf with his friends and spending quality time with his family.
Joe is survived by his children, Regina “Jean” Rissi and her husband Sam of Perkasie, Linda Welischek of North Wales, Joann Volz and her husband Mark of Hatboro and Tonie Weber and her husband Joseph of Fairless Hills. He is also survived by his 5 grand children and 5 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, October 24th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.
Services and interment will be private.
