Walter J. Frayne, of Philadelphia and formerly of Bucks and Montgomery Counties died peacefully holding the hand of his beloved wife on Friday, October 25 at his residence. He was 69.
He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Catherine C. Rutter Frayne.
Born in Philadelphia, Walter was the son of the late Walter F. and Frances Ushler Frayne
.
Walter was a proud Veteran of the Army who answered our country's call and served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 0945 in Harrisburg. He worked for UPS for 36 years as a Diesel Mechanic and was a proud member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers
In addition to his wife Cathy, Walter is survived by his children; Deborah Bosliovich and her husband Michael of Ellicott City, MD, Cathryn Sammons of Philadelphia, and Walter Frayne and his wife Diane of Penndel. He is also survived by his brother David Frayne and his 5 dear grandchildren; Juliete, Ethan, and Katie Bosilovich, and Rebecca and Alexander Frayne.
Walter’s family will receive condolences on Friday, November 1 from 9:00am until his Memorial Service 10:30am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.
Interment will follow with Military Honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St. Philadelphia, PA 19103.
