Russell R. Angely of Chalfont, PA passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at his home with family.

He was the beloved husband of Roxanne Sasso Angely for 32 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Russ was the son of the late Russell and late Madeline McKee Angely, father of the late Rory Angely and brother of the late Lyn Hieber.

Russ was born in Philadelphia and raised in the surrounding areas. He graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University. Russ dedicated 2 ½ years of active duty to the Navy, and 4 ½ years to the Air Force Tactical Operations Command. Russ proudly achieved the role of Vice President of sales and marketing for Science Dynamics Corporation in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. After enjoying a few years of retirement he became a Realtor with Century21 in Lansdale.

Not only was Russ a dedicated, hardworking, ethical individual, he was also a very fun-loving family orientated man. He was a caring and supportive father, and a loving grandfather. Whether you needed advice, a hug, or an engaging conversation he was always there with his thoughtful words and insightful wisdom. Russ enjoyed meeting new people and people loved talking with him due to his easy going nature.

Russ also enjoyed spending his time fishing and enjoying the beaches of LBI and Cape Cod, as well as golfing. Russ had an exceptional eye for details and kept busy with gardening and continual home improvements.

Russ lived his life to the fullest and never wasted a minute; his motto was, “It doesn’t get done just looking at it”. Obviously this motto has proven true from all of his various successes throughout his amazing life.

In addition to his wife, Russ is survived by his children Roxanne and her husband, Brian Swistock, of Tyrone, PA, Maria of Horsham, Russell of Philadelphia and Raymond and his wife, Kathy, of South Carolina, his sisters, Pat Herr and Kathy Curtis both of Florida. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 12:00 pm until his Funeral Service 1:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901. His interment will be held privately.
