James J. Fallon of Chalfont died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown. He was 64.
James was the beloved husband of 43 years to Patricia M. Fedirko Fallon.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Thomas and Veronica Brotschul Fallon and the grandfather of the late Alexander and Ryland Fallon and brother of the late Robert Fallon.
James was a former resident of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia before moving to Chalfont in 1980. He had worked in the Mechanical Contracting and Service industry and was a member of the LU 420 Steamfitters. In his leisure, James enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family and friends at Long Beach Island. He volunteered his time with his children’s sports activities and also coached with Lenape Valley. James was a Communicant of St. Jude Church in Chalfont and will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.
In addition to his beloved wife Patricia, James is survived by his children; Brian Fallon and his wife Jill of Schwenksville, Nancy Kuhn and her husband John of Lansdale, Kevin Fallon of Pittsburgh and David Fallon and his wife Megan of Royersford. He is also survived by brothers and sister, Thomas Fallon of Florida, Larry Fallon of Philadelphia, Michael Fallon of Philadelphia and Susan Sibley of Lafayette Hills and was known as “Pops” to his six grandchildren, Rachael, Matthew, Carissa, Kaycee, Austin and Sammy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings, from 7:00pm-9:00pm on Thursday Nov. 7th and from 8:30am-9:30am on Friday Nov. 8th in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30am in St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914.
Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th and Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104 or the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
