Rose M. Kirkhope of Holland died peacefully on November 6 at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown with her family by her side. She was 89.

Born in Philadelphia, Rose was the beloved wife of 71 years to Harry Kirkhope; she was the daughter of the late Franklin O. and Rose Kneer Frederick and mother of the late Harry and Robert Kirkhope.

Rose was a resident of Holland for the past 40 years and former owner of the Mr. Grocer in Holland during the 1970’s.

Rose will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her children; Kevin Kirkhope and his wife Kathy of Fairless Hills and Janet Pittman of Hyde, PA, her sister Frances Reilly of Newtown and 5 devoted grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Services on Monday November 11, at 10:00am in Forest Hills Cemetery, Philmont Ave and Byberry Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19002.
