Marie McAnulla Garttmeier of Richboro died Thursday November 21, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 80.

Marie was the beloved wife of 60 years to Aloysius J. Garttmeier, Jr.

Born in Ardmore, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice Flood McAnulla and sister of the late Sister Marie Kathleen, RSM.

Marie was a former resident of the Overbrook section of Philadelphia before moving to Richboro in 1968.She was the Secretary to the Second Vice President of Holy Redeemer Hospital until her retirement. Marie was a faithful communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Richboro and in her leisure enjoyed researching family genealogy. She will be remembered for the quality times that she spent with her family and will be deeply missed by all who came to know her.

Marie is survived by her children Gerald, David, Maureen and Paul Garttmeier and was the Mother-in-law of Kevin Uhrich, Mary Kay Garttmeier, Patricia Zukowski and Linda Mullin. She is also survived by her grandchildren Scott and Tara Uhrich, Colin and Jacob Garttmeier, her brother Charles McAnulla, Jr. and his wife Betty and her sister, Katherine Brophy, and her dear friends Kevin, Jean, Ian, Shannon and Sean Ladden.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass 11:00am T uesday, November 26th in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, Mass cards would be preferred by the family.
