Joan M. Brooks Metzger of Holland died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 24th at Chandler Hall in Newtown. She was 64.

She was the beloved wife of 43 years to Robert E. Metzger and loving daughter of the late Joseph B. and Teresa M. Brooks.

Mrs. Metzger has enriched the minds and touched the lives of many students that have had the opportunity to be a part of her class at St. Jerome’s Catholic School in Philadelphia and then for 20 years at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Penndel. She also held a special devotion and love to her close friends and family. Joan will be greatly missed by everyone who has come to know and love her and have had the opportunity to call her wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
In addition to her husband Robert, Joan is survived by her loving son Thomas J. Metzger, his wife Chrissy and grandson Matthew of Sellersville, PA, her sister Barbara B. Keough and her husband Edward.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday evening, December 1st from 6:00- 8:00pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954 and on Monday, December 2nd at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Ave. Penndel, PA 19047 from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 11:00AM.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne.
