Rudolph P. Alessandro, of Holland, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Manor with his family by his side. He was 85.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Natale and Maria Rose Facciolo Alessandro.

He was the beloved husband to the late Margaret C. Ambrose Alessandro for over 50 years.

Rudolph was a resident of Holland for 28 years. He was the owner of Alessandro Beer Distributor on the Germantown Section of Philadelphia for 28 years. He proudly served our country in United States Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was the past Commander of the VFW and was a member of the American Legion.

Rudolph was family oriented, and always had time for those he loved. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his son: Rudolph M. Alessandro and his wife Barbara of Richboro; his brother John Alessandro of Ocean City, NJ; his sister: Josephine Logue of Philadelphia; his grandchildren: Stacey Flood and her husband Chris and Lindsey Bannon and her husband J.T.; and great grandchildren Madison, Ryan, Christian, and Abigail Flood.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 8:30 am to his Funeral Service at 10:00 am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
