Anna Frances Lutz Tillduster of Holland died peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. She was 90.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved wife of the late Frederic G. Tillduster, and was the daughter of the late Edwin F. and Catherine Hegarty Lutz, and sister of the late James M. Lutz and great grandmother of the late Fallon Pruitt.

Anna grew up in Philadelphia during the Great Depression and attended St. Joan of Arc School. She was in the 1st graduating class of Little Flower High School, class of 1943. Anna was proud of her service to her country; she was a Pharmacist Mate in the WAVES, during World War II. During her tour of duty one of her deployments was at St. Albans Naval Hospital in New York where she met her future husband, Corporal Fredric G. Tillduster, USMC. They were married in Philadelphia at St. Ambrose Church in 1947.

After her tour of duty, Anna worked in Research and Development on classified projects at the Frankford Arsenal until it closed in 1974. She continued working on classified projects for the Naval Department, at the Naval Depot, until her retirement in 1989.

Anna looked forward to being with family and friends after her retirement and was not disappointed. She was showered with love and affection from her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her memory will live on in their hearts forever.

Anna is survived by her loving children Katie Buttleman and her husband Dennis, Ann Dudula, Frederic G. Tillduster, Jr., and Theresa Tillduster; she is the devoted sister of Edwin F. Lutz, Jr., Christopher L. Lutz and Maria McHugh. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren; Dennis P. Buttleman Jr., Katrina Mingos (Mark), Ginamarie Dudula (Ed Jones), Sarah Pruitt (Lamar), Liza Dooley, Emily Dooley, great grandmother of Molly and Jasper Mingos, Julianna and Jaxon Jones, Harper and Phoebe Pruitt, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings Monday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass 11:00 am at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 135 Sycamore St. Newtown.

Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Women's War Memorial Foundation, Dept. 560 Washington, DC. 20042.
