Helen B. Nawrocki Gazdzik of Trevose, PA died peacefully Thursday, December 26, 2013 at her residence. She was 102.

She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Gazdzik.

Born in Poland, Helen was the daughter of the late Walter and Josephine Nawrocki and mother of the late Walter P. Gazdzik.

Helen was the ultimate homemaker who was an accomplished culinary artist whose family loved her many creations from the kitchen and especially the traditional Polish dishes. She had a love of animals and the great outdoors and she enjoyed the times spent with family at her vacation retreat on the lake at Lake Wallenpaupack. Helen also enjoyed crocheting Afghans and creating floral arrangements for her beloved family and friends.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughters; Christine Elgert of Trevose, PA and Diane Bauld and her husband Thomas of Milan, MI. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren Charlene, Walter, Cheryl, Patrick, and Helena, 2 step grandsons Harry and James, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 step-great grandchildren.

Helen’s family will receive friends on Monday January 13, from 10:00AM until her Funeral Service 11:00AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA.

Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Cheltenham, PA.
