Frank Cerami
Frank Cerami, of Ottsville, PA died on Friday, December 27, 2013, at his home with his family by his side. He was 85.
He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Mergen Green Cerami.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francesco and Josephine Cerami. He proudly served his country during the Korean War as a Corporal in the United States Army and received an Honorable discharge.
Frank has been a resident of Ottsville, for the past 16 years. He liked traveling cross country and riding his horse. He was an independent thinker who possessed a passion for business. He was an adventurer who liked to explore and especially loved meeting new people, sharing stories and telling jokes. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Frank Cerami III and his wife Donna of Lumberton, NJ. Dr. Michael Cerami and his wife Dr. Kay Philippi of Salt Lake City, UT, Anthony James Cerami of Emerald Hills, CA, and Patti Cerami of Ottsville, PA, his brother Mario Cerami and his wife Mary of Sutton, AK, his sister Antoinette McAleese and her husband David of Doylestown, sister -in-law Dolores Cerami of Oreland, PA, his nephews, John, David, and Larry Cerami and nieces, JoDair McAleese and Lori Hanlon. He is also survived by his 3 dear grandchildren; Frank Cerami IV, Alexander Joseph Cerami and Mia Angela Cerami. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Rita Leone Cerami, his nephew James McAleese and his brothers, Joseph, Dominic, Anthony, and John Cerami.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday evening, January 2, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.
His funeral procession to the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown will depart at 9:00 am on Friday, January 3, 2014 from the funeral home.
