Robert J. Seader of Ivyland died peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 75.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved husband of 41 years to Mary B. (nee Matthews) Seader, and son of the late John and Amelia (nee Adgalane) Seader.
Bob was a resident of Ivyland for the past 41 years. Growing up Bob graduated elementary school from a one room school house in Shelly, PA. In 1956, he graduated from Neshaminy High School. He proudly served our country serving in the United States Army. Bob believed in education and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from LaSalle University. His professional career spanned 37 years as a Systems Analyst for Rohm and Haas. He retired in 1995 at the age of 56 and thoroughly enjoyed his long retirement.
Bob was a real Man’s Man, he was a sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, golfing, he also enjoyed making 18th century reproduction furniture and playing cards. He was a voracious reader, absorbing all that he read on the topics, He along with his wife Mary loved to travel, and they saw all 50 states in the US, also traveling to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. He especially loved the American West.
In addition to his beloved wife Mary, Bob is survived by his loving children Mary Jane Bobyock (David), Ann Marie Hanson (Greg), Victoria Broullon (Terry Wakefield), Caroline Broullon (Seth Frank), Elizabeth Fine (Paul), his brother Bill Seader (Teri), He is also survived by 12 dear grandchildren; Lauren, Dean, Jessica, Makena, Julie, Sayde, Grace, Ali, Chloe, Robert, JP, Matthew and many nieces and nephews.
Bob’s family will receive condolences on Sunday October 26, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and on Monday from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1400 Almshouse Rd., Jamison. Interment will be private.
