Tom was the beloved husband of 55 years to P. Jean Simoson Froehlich.
Born in Kintersville, PA, he was the son of the late George and Ruth Mondeau Froehlich and brother of the late George, Fred and Arthur.
Tom was a builder and carpenter by trade, building his family’s home at age 23 and the family cabin at the age of 29. He also had a family business, Froehlich Construction, with his brothers George and Arthur Froehlich.
A devout family man, he loved and cherished his children and grandkids and his great grandkids. He was a people person and enjoyed talking to everyone. He was an avid fisherman and a big game hunter and traveled across North America and Africa. Tom also enjoyed shooting sporting clays, being in nature and horseback riding. He was an excellent cook, loved seafood and appreciated a good quality cigar. Tom often would repair things and was very inquisitive on how things operated and were assembled. He relished completing soduko and crossword puzzles, reading books and taking long walks on the beach and gathering up shells. Tom will be deeply missed by his family and by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his beloved wife Jean, Tom is survived by his children, Mary L. Ingalsbe and her husband Bruce S. of Hummelstown, PA, Deborah L.
