Anna Braun of Furlong and formerly of Newtown died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.  She was 93.

Born in Germany Anna was the beloved wife of 39 years to the late George Braun.

Anna was an avid flower and vegetable gardener, who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.  She created beautiful needlework, and in her later years she knitted hundreds of children’s sweaters each year for the charity World Vision while she watched the Phillies on TV.

Anna is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Dorothy A. Braun and her husband Scott R. Carey of Furlong, her dear grandsons Alan and Andrew Carey, and her beloved sister Johanna Paul.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 11:00AM until her Funeral Service 12 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery in Newtown.
