It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret P. “Debby” Burkey. She was 72.

Devoted daughter, wife, step-mother, sister, aunt, Godmother, and friend, Debby always put others first. Despite her own failing health, she was the sole caregiver of her disabled husband John until his passing in December 2018. Debby’s love of life, in combination with her dedication toward family and friends, her compassion, understanding, determination, and positive attitude are hard to match.

Debby will be sorely missed by her two sisters, brother-in-law, niece, nephew and their spouses, 2 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, 3 step-children, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, extended family, and so many loving friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Debby’s family on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901. Her interment will take place privately.
